TAMPA, OCT. 16, 2015 – Junior Dakota Hampton recorded a double-double for USF in a 3-1 (25-22, 25-13, 22-25, 28-26) loss to Tulsa Friday at The Corral.
The Golden Hurricane improved to 9-10 overall and 4-3 in the American Athletic Conference while the Bulls fell to 6-13 (3-4).
Hampton, a native of Overland Park, Ill., recorded 12 kills and 20 digs over the four sets. Her dig total was second on the team to senior Wylie Devlin who finished with 22. Devlin entered the match ranked seventh in the conference with 4.64 digs per set.
Junior Denise Belcher led the Bulls with 13 kills and freshman Molly Burkhardt had a team-high 25 assists.
The Bulls are back in action at The Corral on Sunday at 1 p.m. against conference-leader SMU.
