TAMPA, MARCH 9, 2015 – USF Athletics announces the Bulls Club Champion Seating Program, a new, simplified and more affordable season ticket pricing structure for USF football and men's and women's basketball starting in 2015.
The Bulls Club Champion Seating Program removes the former requirement to make upfront donations prior to purchasing season tickets. The program creates unprecedented access to prime seating locations, supports fans' desire to purchase any available seat quickly and easily online, as well as provides new season ticket member benefits and alumni, faculty and staff discounts. Fans are encouraged to visit BullsClubChampionSeating.com for complete details.
The program, which marks the first advancement in USF's ticketing structure since football began playing in Raymond James Stadium in 1998, now makes the best seats for Bulls' contests in Raymond James Stadium and the Sun Dome accessible to all fans at a single, affordable price per seat.
For a vast majority of fans, the removal of a required, upfront donation combined with lower ticket prices will significantly reduce the cost to purchase season tickets in 2015. Under the new structure, the full cost of a season ticket ranges between $125-$650 depending on proximity to midfield, with a large number of seats accessible for $250 or less. Anyone who purchases season tickets in donor areas will be automatically enrolled as a Bulls Club member supporting the scholarship aspirations of student-athletes, while also having the ability to take a tax deduction on a portion of their season ticket purchase. “With the goal of uniting the USF community to support our student-athletes, we listened to a broad range of USF stakeholders and consulted industry leaders to determine how we could improve customer satisfaction and increase attendance. ” said Senior Associate Director of Athletics Andrew T. Goodrich. “We believe a simplified pricing model, which allows greater access to seats in more desirable locations, combined with affordability, ease of transaction and targeted discounts will help create a home venue advantage for our teams and benefit their pursuit of their team goals.”
USF Athletics consulted with Dr. Jeff Ely, a Northwestern University economist and co-founder of the ticket pricing intelligence firm The Ticker, on ways to improve the Bulls ticket pricing and purchase process. The Ticker was named one of the 10 most innovative companies in the sports industry by Fast Company magazine.
In an effort to create a stronger home venue advantage, season tickets will be sold in the 100 and 200 levels only. Tickets in the 300 level will be sold on an as needed basis. For access to suites, group sections, and special event areas, please call 1-800-GoBulls.
New in 2015, USF alumni, faculty, and staff will enjoy a discount on all season tickets. The discount will be phased according to when the tickets are purchased. AFS purchasing season tickets between March 9 and May 31 will receive a 20 percent discount, June 1 to July 31 receives a 10 percent discount, and seats purchased from August 1 up to the season opener receive a five percent discount.
USF, which signed the best recruiting class in The American for the second-straight season, will feature six games on its 2015 home football schedule, including a visit from ACC opponent Syracuse, and contests verses 2014 American Athletic Conference Co-Champions Memphis Tigers and Cincinnati Bearcats.
Fans purchasing season tickets for the 2015 season will have priority to renew those same seat locations for the 2016 season when Florida State, UCF and Navy travel to Raymond James Stadium in 2016.
Fans are encouraged to visit GoUSFBulls.com, scroll over the “Tickets” tab and click on “Manage My Account.” Once logged-in, fans can click the “Pay Now” button and confirm payment to renew their season tickets in a matter of minutes.
