TAMPA, APRIL 30, 2015 – Three Bulls will continue to compete on the national stage after No. 19 USF is done with its NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championship run.

Roberto Cid has been selected to participate in the NCAA Championship singles tournament while Oliver Pramming and Justin Roberts will take part in doubles competition. Action takes place May 20-25 at the Hurd Tennis Center in Waco, Texas following the conclusion of the team championship.

Cid, ranked 19th nationally, became the program's first All-American last spring after knocking off the top-seeded player at the NCAA Singles Championship and making it to the quarterfinals. The junior from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic is 25-9 in singles competition this season and 14-4 this spring.

“Leading into competition, Roberto is feeling really good and he's playing his best tennis of the season right now,” head coach Matt Hill said. “He's worked really hard on his serve and spent a lot of time on his decision-making skills. That's been really good to see this year."

Pramming, a senior from Denmark, and Roberts, a freshman from the Bahamas, are 17-9 in doubles competition this season and the 27th-ranked duo have won eight of their past nine matches. Pramming and Roberts clinched the doubles point for USF in its second consecutive American Athletic Conference Championship victory and have helped the Bulls win three tournaments overall this season.

“They've worked really hard to put themselves in a position to make the tournament,” Hill said. “Oliver has never played in it before and he's really excited. Justin has such a bright future ahead of him and it's exciting for him to have the opportunity to play on this big of a stage in his first year. It's rare in this tournament to see freshmen.”

USF (21-6) begins its national title pursuit May 8 in Blacksburg, Va., where the Bulls will face Boise State in the first round of the NCAA Championship. Hill's squad came within one victory of reaching the Round of 16 last season.
