TAMPA, JAN. 21, 2016 – USF continues its indoor track and field season at the Jim Donahue Games on Friday beginning at 2:30 p.m. in Boston, Mass.
The Bulls are coming off many solid individual performances from the men's team at the UAB Blazer Invite last week.
Senior Matthew O'Neal will compete again on Friday after capturing his second triple jump title in as many meets with a jump of 53-feet, 1 inch. That mark is currently the second-best in the nation behind Eric Sloan of USC (53-11). To compete at the NCAA Championships, a student-athlete must be ranked in the top 16 of their event.
Seniors Bruce Barclay and Devin Screen each performed well last week. Barclay'S 60m hurdle time of 7.95 was the second-fastest time in the American Athletic Conference and all-time at USF. Screen's shot put toss of 53-3.75 ranks fifth in The American.
Among those competing on Friday is freshman Jonah Daniels. The 2014 state champion for Episcopal High School in Jacksonville, Fla., is leading The American in the long jump with a season best of 23-4.75 last week.
Those that rank in the top five in the conference on the women's side for the Bulls are Tiah Sanborn (fourth, 400m), Catherine Blaney (fifth, mile), Lauren Kilts (fifth, high jump) and Stephanie Lambeth (fifth, pole vault).

Led by 10th-year head coach Warren Bye, the USF track and field team has produced 21 All-Americans (eight men, 13 women) since 2000 and at least one All-American in seven of the last eight years. Senior Matthew O'Neal is a four-time All-American in the triple jump. The Bulls host the USF Invitational on March 11-12 and the Bulls Invitational on March 17-18. USF is home to the 2018 NCAA Track and Field East Preliminary.
