GREENVILLE, N.C., SEPT. 21, 2017 – USF delivered head coach
Denise Schilte-Brown her 200th career win in dramatic fashion Thursday night.
Katie Kitching put the Bulls ahead in the 89th minute of their 2-1 comeback victory at East Carolina in the Bulls' conference opener.
USF (5-2, 1-0) tied things up before halftime with
Leah Ferlin's first-career goal in the 38th minute on an assist by
Andrea Hauksdottir.
USF outshot ECU, 11-3, in the second half and got the goal it was looking for from Kitching. The freshman from England got a long pass in the box and netted her first-career goal from 10 yards out.
ECU (5-3-2, 0-1) headed into the match with an undefeated record at home before USF improved to 9-2-1 in the programs' all-time series.

Schilte-Brown reached her 100th win with USF last season, and will begin her eleventh season as head coach in 2017. The Bulls made their first NCAA tournament appearance in 2010 and returned in 2014 & 2015.
