
Bulls Complete Competition at AAC Championships

NEW ORLEANS, OCT. 25, 2018 – The USF cross country team finished competition at the American Athletic Conference Championships on Thursday with a 10th-place finish from its men's team and a 12th-place showing by its women's team at the Golf Club at Audubon Park.
Sophomore Matt Neeley (St. John's, Fla.) paced the men's team, placing 55th with a time of 30:10.47, while senior Cash Tampa (St. John's, Fla.) took second for the Bulls after crossing the finish line in 69th place with a time of 31:25.10.
Rania Samhouri (Tampa) led the women's team with a time of 25:42.66 on her way to a 64th-place finish. Senior Brianna Rischar (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) followed in 65th place with a time of 25:50.14.

TEAM RESULTS – MEN
USF returns to action Friday, Nov. 9 when the Bulls travel to Tallahassee, Fla., to compete at the NCAA South Regionals. Competition begins at 8:30 a.m. with the women's 6K race and will be followed by the men's 8K race at 9:30 a.m.
About USF Cross Country
Dena Reif is in her seventh season as the head coach of USF cross country. The history of USF's women's program consists of five conference and two region championships as well as five NCAA qualifying teams. The USF men's program has produced seven conference championships and three NCAA qualifying teams.
