TAMPA, NOV. 8, 2018 – The USF cross country team makes its final appearance of the 2018 season on Friday when the Bulls make the short trip north to Tallahassee, Fla., to take part in the NCAA South Regionals.
Hosted by Florida State, the meet will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Apalachee Regional Park with the women's 6k. The men's 10k follows at 9:30 a.m. Both races will be streamed live on ESPN3.
USF most recently competed at the American Athletic Conference Championships on Oct. 25 in New Orleans. Sophomore Matt Neeley (St. John's, Fla.) paced the men's team, placing 55th with a time of 30:10.47, while senior Cash Tampa (St. John's, Fla.) took second for the Bulls after crossing the finish line in 69th place with a time of 31:25.10.
Sophomore Rania Samhouri (Tampa) led the women's team with a time of 25:42.66 on her way to a 64th-place finish. Senior Brianna Rischar (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) followed in 65th place with a time of 25:50.14.

The history of USF's women's program consists of five conference and two region championships as well as five NCAA qualifying teams. The USF men's program has produced seven conference championships and three NCAA qualifying teams.
