Bulls' Season Ends in The American Quarterfinals

ORLANDO, Nov 6, 2018 – Despite an early 1-0 lead and an impressive eight shots on goal, the Bulls fell to fourth-seeded Memphis in the opening round of The American tournament.

Adrian Billhardt (Berlin, German) checked into the match just in time for USF to take an early lead, entering in the 30th minute and recording in assist in the 32nd. Billhardt sent a pass from the left wing to the inside right corner of the 18-yard box. Jonathan Rosales (Kissimmee, Fla.) had one perfect touch that set up second team all-conference selection Alex Zis (Canada) to punch in the Bulls goal, beating the keeper left.

Just five minutes later, the Tigers were awarded a penalty kick that tied the match, 1-1. The game remained tied until the 81st minute when the Tigers played a ball into the penalty box and shot from just six yards out. USF keeper Harrison Devenish-Meares was able to get hands on it, but the shot pushed through to double Memphis' score. The Tigers added an insurance goal in the 87th minute.
