TAMPA, Feb. 17, 2018 – Juniors David Villar (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) and Chris Chatfield (Riverview, Fla.) each crushed massive homers in USF's 12-5 loss to No. 6 North Carolina Saturday night.

USF also plated a first-inning run when junior Joe Genord (Lake Worth, Fla.) drove home classmate Alec Wisely (Jacksonville) from third. But UNC added three more run over the next two innings and led by as much as much as 10 after the sixth, 12-2, scattering 14 total hits on the night.

The Bulls scored the final three runs behind Villar's two-run shot in the eighth and Chatfield's solo blast in the ninth.
