TAMPA (March 28, 2018) – USF travels to Memphis, Tenn., for a three-game series that begins on Thursday at 6 p.m. EST. The teams will meet on Friday at 3 p.m. and Saturday at 11 a.m.
 
USF (25-13, 3-0) opened play in The American with a sweep of UConn and is one of just two teams that remains undefeated in the league. Seniors shined in the Bulls' 3-0 weekend over UConn. Lauren Evans (Land O' Lakes, Fla.) opened the weekend with a leadoff home run, and Astin Donovan (Guilford, Conn.) hit her first grand slam to seal the series with a 9-0 shutout Sunday afternoon.  
 
Freshman Georgina Corrick (Sanford, Fla.) pitched a one-hit shutout in her American Athletic Conference debut and closed the weekend with her eighth win of the season.
 
Scouting the Opponent
Memphis (23-8, 2-1) opened conference play on the road with a pair of wins and one loss against new conference member Wichita State. The Tigers have produced two players of the week and one pitcher of the week this season.
 
Memphis and USF have met 15 times, dating back to 2008. The Bulls lead the series, 12-3. The teams last met in North Carolina last season in the conference tournament where the Tigers won, 7-0. During the regular season USF swept the series, 3-0.
