TAMPA (March 5, 2018) – The USF Softball team welcomes Seton Hall to Tampa for a midweek matchup at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Bulls are coming off a 4-2 weekend when they went undefeated in the Under Armour Invitational after dropping a doubleheader to No. 6 Oregon. Sophomore Brooke Hartman was key in two close wins for USF, sparking a comeback against Western Michigan in the fourth inning before hitting the walk-off RBI single that gave USF a 6-5 victory. Against Central Michigan, she hit a bomb over the left field fence to spark USF's comeback in the 4-3 win over the Chippewa. Hartman batted .583 in five games over the weekend in 12 at-bats. She had seven hits including two home runs and a double.

USF had a solid weekend in the circle. Freshman Georgina Corrick posted a career-high 12 strikeouts against Wisconsin on Friday afternoon. Freshman Miriam Schmoll picked up her first collegiate win against Western Michigan, and junior Cheyenne Eggens also earned her first win this season against Penn. Eggens tossed 12.1 innings over the weekend and totaled seven strikeouts.
