Bulls Ready for Bluejays
USF men's soccer is coming off of a 1-0 battle against Virginia Tech (receiving votes) in its home opener on Friday night. Nearly 1,000 fans helped the Bulls barrel in 21 shots, but USF was unable to connect with the back of the net and fell to the Hokies. Sophomore Adrian Billhardt had eight of USF's 21 shots on the night, three of which were on goal. USF will welcome back key defender Henrique Gallina who did not compete on Friday night due to an ejection in a previous match against Michigan.

Goalkeeper Harrison Devenish-Meares (Sydney, Australia) stood out for the Bulls in the home opener, earning a career-high nine saves.

The Opponent
Creighton, 1-1-1, defeated No. 11 Clemson 2-0 in the season opener in Omaha, before playing UC Davis in a scoreless draw to round out the opening weekend. The Bluejays are traveling to Tampa on a two-game road swing, after visiting Phoenix on Friday night where they fell 1-0 to Grand Canyon. Similar to USF's opening match against then-No. 7 Michigan State, Creighton played GCU scoreless until the 81stminute, when the Lopes' Jamie Delor bicycle-kicked the goal into an unattended net.

The Bluejays had 17 shots on the night, including a 7-2 edge in shots on goal over the Lopes. Freshman goalkeeper Paul Kruse recorded one save on the night.
