Bulls Hit .337 in Straight Sets Win at UNF
JACKSONVILLE, SEPTEMBER 21, 2018 – Showing no signs of an emotional letdown after Friday night's battle against rival UCF, the USF volleyball team handled North Florida on the road in straight sets Sunday afternoon (25-20, 25-16, 25-17).
The Bulls (11-3, 0-1 The American) got 11 kills from sophomore
Nikkia Benitez (Miami) and a double-double from senior setter
Briana Stowell (Orlando), tallying 28 assists and 12 digs. Junior
Jac'cara Walker (Gainesville, Fla.) had 10 kills in the win.

Led by redshirt senior middle blocker Clara Payne, who paced the team with 300 points and finished seventh in The American with a .290 hitting percentage, USF and seventh-year head coach Courtney Draper are excited for 2018. Senior setter Briana Stowell finished second on the team in 2017 with 243 assists and averaged 22.3 per match in the final month of the year. The Bulls are welcoming six new faces to the roster, with five talented freshmen and a skilled outside hitter coming from Marshall University.
