TAMPA, Fla., Sept 24, 2018 --The USF men's soccer returns home to take on the Stetson Hatters on Tuesday night at 7 p.m., part of a two-game homestand for the Bulls.

Bulls Ready to Host the HattersÂ
The USF Bulls (2-5-1, 0-0-1 AAC) head into the match following their 2-2 draw against UConn.USF opened conference play against the Huskies in an overtime thriller where the Huskies took the lead early via Dayonn Harris' 7
thminute goal. But the Bulls answered quickly when only four minutes later USF found its equalizer via
Kori Cupid's (Chaguanas, Trinidad) header off of
Alex Zis' (Ontario, Canada) corner kick.Â

In the 76
thminute the Bulls took their first lead of the night off of
Stephen Rudderham's (St. Petersburg, Fla.) stellar goal, a highlight of the 2018 season. Rudderham struck a left-footed volley with his back towards the goal from 25 yards out, stunning the Huskies' back line. The lead didn't last long, as the Huskies would answer quickly with an equalizer in the 80
thminute via Abdou Mbacke Thiam.

In overtime, neither team could muster enough to find the match-winning goal. While USF got off three shots, the Bulls held the Huskies to zero shots in both of the overtime periods.

The Opponent
Stetson comes into the match against USF off the heels of a 2-0 victory over USC Upstate. The Hatters are have amassed a 3-3-1 on the season.

The Hatters have a well-balanced attack on offense, with three Hatters each scoring two goals this season. Stetson's three leading goal-scorers are Elvis Menayese, Erwan Colas and William Suaut. While Menayese and Colas have scored their two goals on 15 and 16 shots respectively, Suaut has scored his two goals with only four total shots.

Goalkeeper Braedon Luna has started six of the team's seven matches and has recorded a total of 20 saves this season.

The match will serve as International Students night and international students are invited to attend the men's soccer match to connect and enjoy soccer at Corbett Stadium.Â

Additionally, concessions will be providing a special menu item for the match, bratwurst with sauerkraut.

Both Cupid and Rudderham were named to the American Athletic Conference's weekly Honor Roll, following their performance against UConn, where each scored a goal to help USF manage a draw on the road. It was their second consecutive game each scoring a goal.Â

Notable
- Due to a cancellation in 2017, Tuesday's match will be the first meeting between the two teams since the Bulls defeated the Hatters on 1-0 on Sep. 2, 2013.Â
- Junior Alex Zis is now leading the Bulls in both goals and assists. He has three goals and two assists on the season, all scored in one week against in-state opponents.Â
- With Kori Cupid and Stephen Rudderham both scoring over the weekend at UConn, both players have now scored in consecutive matches, after each earned a goal against FGCU.Â
