Bulls Ready to Weather the Storm
The Bulls (3-5-1, 0-0-1 AAC) head into the match following their 3-1 win against Stetson (3-4-1) on Tuesday night. USF defeated Hatters behind a collective team effort, where three players earned goals on the night, including two freshmen who scored their first career goals.
Avionne Flanagan (Baltimore, Md.),
Henrique Gallina (Atibaia, Brazil), and
Felipe Baptista (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) each found the back of the net in the midweek match. While Stetson equalized with USF 1-1 in the first half, Gallina's debut game-winner and Baptista's debut insurance goal pushed the Bulls over the Hatters 3-1.
Alex Zis (Ontario, Canada),
Emilio Ycaza (St. Petersburg, Fla.) and
Stephen Rudderham (St. Petersburg, Fla.) each recorded at least one assist on the night, giving Zis his third consecutive match with an assist and fourth consecutive match scoring points.
