TAMPA, MARCH 5, 2019 – The USF men's basketball team takes to the road for the final time in the regular season Wednesday at 8 p.m. (EST) when the Bulls travel to New Orleans, La., for a matchup with Tulane at Devlin Fieldhouse.

USF (18-11, 7-9) will aim for the season sweep of the Green Wave after turning in a 66-48 victory over Tulane earlier this season in Tampa. In that game, sophomore guard David Collins (Youngstown, Ohio) finished with 17 points, five rebounds, five assists and five steals to lead a trio of Bulls in double figures. Forward Alexis Yetna (Paris) registered a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, and T.J. Lang (Mobile, Ala.) scored 11 points off the bench.

Collins finished with a game-high 17 points Sunday against UConn, has scored in double figures in eight straight games and leads USF with 15.1 points per game. Collins adds 1.9 steals per game and has made 153 free throws to rank 27th in the NCAA and fifth on the school's single-season list.

Redshirt junior guard Laquincy Rideau (West Palm Beach, Fla.) ranks second on the team with 12.9 points per game and leads The American with 2.9 steals per game and 5.5 assists per game. Rideau ranks seventh in the NCAA in steals and is attempting to become the first player in AAC history to lead the league in both assists and steals in the same season.

Yetna scores 12.0 points per game and tops the league with 9.5 rebounds per game to rank 27th in the NCAA. He also paces the conference with 10 double-doubles and is 23rd in the NCAA with 3.3 offensive rebounds per game.

THE OPPONENT
Tulane (4-24, 0-16) is on an 18-game losing streak, winless in conference play and will be in search of its first victory since Dec. 17 against Texas Southern. The Green Wave rank last in the league in scoring (66.6 ppg) and in points allowed (77.2 ppg) and are losing by an average of 10.6 points per game.

Sophomore guard Caleb Daniels leads Tulane with 16.0 points per game and had registered a team-best 20 steals. Redshirt junior Samir Sehic adds 12.1 points per game to go along with a team-high 7.8 rebounds per game. Senior Jordan Cornish nearly averages double figures with 9.9 points per game, and has connected for a team-high 42 three-pointers.

QUOTABLE
Head coach Brian Gregory on the matchup with Tulane:
"When we played them earlier Daniels didn't play and he's an all-league player. He's a tough matchup because he can score in a variety of ways. They post him up, he scores off the dribble and he shoots well from the three. They played very well Sunday against Temple and the game before that they played well on the road at Tulsa. They are playing better because they are healthy again and their younger guys are playing a lot more minutes. It's going to be a difficult game for us going on the road having a quick turnaround, but we're going to have to make sure we respond the right way."
