Sullivan’s Complete Game Fuels Bulls against Shockers
TAMPA, FLA., May 17, 2019 – Junior righty
Collin Sullivan tossed his second career complete game to lift USF to a 2-0 win over Wichita State, evening the series and forcing a rubber match Saturday.
The Bulls (26-26, 8-15 The American) didn't have many scoring chances, but capitalized on one in the fourth.
Jordan Santos (Tampa) and
Joe Genord (Lake Worth, Fla.) led off the frame with singles, After a double play,
Julio Cortez (Weston, Fla.) walked to put runners at the corners with two away. Junior
Austin Bodrato (Northvale, N.J.) delivered with a base hit to right, scoring Santos and Cortez.
It was more than enough for Sullivan (Randolph, Mass.), who was dialed in, allowing just three base runners over the final five innings.

9 – It was Sullivan's second career complete game and his second against Wichita St. He also went the distance against the Shockers in the conference tournament last season.
