Bulls End Season at NCAA East Preliminary

JACKSONVILLE, MAY 25, 2019 – David Bell finished in 19th place in the pole vault to highlight competition for the USF track and field team at the NCAA East Preliminary from Hodges Stadium.
Bell (Jacksonville) posted a height of 16-9.25 on his way to recording his third-highest mark of the season. Freshman Stone Baker (New Port Richey, Fla.) placed 39th in the event with a height of 15-9.25.
Senior D'Angelo Ennis (Kingston, Jamaica) turned in a 27th-place finish in the triple jump with a distance of 49-7.75.
Junior Stephanie Lambeth (Frankenmuth, Mich.) finished in 36th place in the pole vault with a distance of 12-4.50, while Sophomore Brittany Krug (Loretto, Pa.) finished in 33rd place in the javelin throw with a distance of 143-8.00.
In running events, junior Maurice Nock (Sanford, Fla.) placed 43rd in the 100 meters with a time of 10.74 seconds and 42nd in the 200 meters after crossing the line in 21.65 seconds. Senior Chelsea Francis (Jacksonville) took 46th place in the 100 meters with a time of 11.93 seconds and 43rd in the 200 meters with a time of 24.17.
