This Week: USF continues conference play at UConn on Saturday at noon (TV: TBA) … The USF Football Radio Show is set for Thursday from 7-8 p.m. at World of Beer on East Fowler Ave (near the USF campus).
Last Week: The Bulls fell behind early in their conference-opening clash with SMU, but quarterback Blake Barnett jump-started the offense with three touchdown passes on three straight drives in the second half of a 48-21 loss to unbeaten SMU (5-0) at Raymond James Stadium on Sept. 28.
Need to Know: USF's homecoming game against BYU on Saturday, Oct. 12 has been set for a 3:30 p.m. start at Raymond James Stadium (TV: CBS Sports Network). Tickets for the game can be purchased by visiting USFBullsTix.com or by calling 1-800-Go-Bulls.

Men's Soccer (5-2, 1-0)
This Week: The Bulls seek their third straight win Tuesday at home against Florida Gulf Coast University. Action at Corbett Stadium begins at 7 p.m. … USF continues conference play at Tulsa 8 p.m. Saturday in Oklahoma… The American named sophomore Javain Brown its defensive player of the week on Monday while senior Harrison Devenish-Meares earned goalkeeper of the week honors. Last Week: Senior Jonathan Rosales scored in the 81st minute to help USF begin its 2-0 week with a 1-0 victory at North Florida on Sept. 24… USF opened conference play with a 2-1 home win over UConn on Sept. 27 after getting goals from Emilio Ycaza and Javain Brown.

This Week: USF continues conference play with road tests at Houston (Thursday, 8 p.m.) and SMU (Sunday, 2 p.m.)… USF is listed at No. 22 in the latest Top Drawer Soccer rankings… Senior Andrea Hauksdottir was named to The American's weekly honor roll on Monday after totaling three points last week.
Last Week: With 13 seconds left in double overtime, sophomore Sydny Nasello drew a foul in the box to give USF a penalty kick. Senior midfielder Andrea Hauksdottir converted the attempt to give the Bulls a 2-1 home win over Tulsa in the conference opener on Sept. 26… USF dropped a 2-1 decision against No. 11 Memphis on Sept. 29.

About USF Athletics
USF Athletics sponsors 19 varsity men's and women's teams that compete in 11 different sports, 18 at the NCAA Division I level in the American Athletic Conference. The Bulls' athletic program began in 1965 and is in its 53rd season in 2018-19. Nearly 500 student-athletes train and compete in the athletic district located on the east end of the campus in Tampa, Fla. The Bulls have claimed 18 American Athletic Conference team titles since joining the conference in 2013, and own 119 conference titles overall. Eleven USF programs reached national postseason competition in the 2018-19 season and six were ranked in the Top 25 nationally. The Bulls posted a combined annual grade-point average over 3.0 for the fourth straight year in 2018-19 and have posted a program record nine straight semesters with a combined GPA over 3.0. USF has had more than 250 student-athletes earn their degree in the last three years.
