USF Closes Weekend at UAB Vulcan Invitational

BIRMINGHAM, ALA., Jan. 11, 2020 – The USF track and field team competed in its second meet of the weekend Saturday at the UAB Vulcan Invitational.

Senior Yohance Haynes (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) placed eighth in the 400 meters with a time of 50.41 to highlight competition in running events for the men's team. In field events, sophomore Stone Baker (New Port Richey, Fla.) took fourth in the pole vault with a height of 15-5.00, while junior Seth Musselman (St. Cloud, Fla.) was sixth with a mark of 14-5.25.

Junior Maya Fabri (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) raced to an eighth-place finish in the 200 meters with a time of 26.04 seconds. Distance runner Alexandra Weir (Toronto, Ontario) was fifth in the mile run after crossing the finish line in a time of 5:09.07.

In field events, senior Stephanie Lambeth (Frankenmuth, Mich.) turned in a fourth-place finish in the pole vault with a height of 12-5.50.

USF returns to action Jan. 24-25 when the Bulls travel to Lexington, Ky., to take part in the Rod McCravey Memorial hosted by the University of Kentucky.
