WICHITA, Kan. (October 3, 2021) – The University of South Florida Bulls (6-9, 0-4 AAC) concluded a weekend road trip with a 3-0 setback to Wichita State University (7-6, 1-3 AAC) on Sunday afternoon. The Shockers won the match by set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-17.
Junior libero CC Clausen recorded 11 digs in the match on Sunday and moved into third place all-time in program history for career digs (1,447).
Defense was the story of the match as the home team held a 38-33 advantage in digs and totaled nine blocks compared to just three for the Bulls.
The Shocker defense limited USF to a .044 hitting percentage while recording a .333 mark on their offensive end.
Marta Cvitkovic led the Bulls with nine kills, followed by Ragan Kinard (6) and Amanda DeWitt (4).
Eke Denessen dished our 14 assists and Kelsey O'Loughlin chipped in 10 assists.

The Bulls will return home next weekend seeking their first conference win of the season when they host Tulane (Friday, Oct. 8) and Houston (Sunday, Oct. 10).
