ORLANDO (November 17, 2021) – In the second and final installment of the War On I-4 during the 2021 season for the University of South Florida volleyball team (7-21, 1-16 AAC), the Bulls fell in three sets to the University of Central Florida Knights (23-6, 16-1 AAC) on Wednesday night.
UCF won the match by set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-16.
Marta Cvitkovic floored a team-best 13 kills and record four service aces while also registering two blocks and five digs.
True freshman Ragan Kinard finished with seven kills one match removed from a career-best 17 kills for USF last Saturday.
The Bulls battled back from a 4-0 deficit in set two to close the gap to 9-7 on a kill from Tizi Puljiz. After a kill from Kelsey O'Loughlin and a UCF error USF cut its deficit to 13-10, but was never able to pull in front.
O'Loughlin set the offense with 24 assists on the night. Alexis Williams tallied a team-best nine digs.

- Cvitkovic has led USF in kills in 22 of the Bulls' 28 matches this season.
- CC Clausen added three digs to her career total of 1,596.
- Williams is averaging 4.5 digs/set over the last three matches.
