TAMPA, Fla., April 11, 2021 – The No. 13/15 University of South Florida women's soccer team capped an undefeated regular-season campaign with a 1-1 draw in Cincinnati on Sunday. The Bulls hold sole possession of the regular-season American Athletic Conference title and are the No. 1 seed heading into this week's AAC tournament at Corbett Stadium.

Fanny Pelletier-Laroche (Gatineau, Quebec, Canada) scored the game-winner for South Florida (. Solveig Larsen (Kopavogur, Iceland) tallied an assist, while
Sydney Martinez (Rincon, Ga.) tallied seven saves in net.

Defenses dominated the first half. Both goalkeepers made two saves to keep the game scoreless after 45 minutes.

The Bulls struck first in the second half. Larsen found Pelletier-Laroche in front of the net and the Canadian scored to give USF a 1-0 lead in the 76
th minute. Eight minutes later, Cincinnati tied the game with a goal from Sophie Gorman. Neither team could break through again, ending the match with a 1-1 score.

Notables
- Martinez tied her career-high with seven saves in the match. She previously posted seven against Washington in the 2019 NCAA tournament.
- This season marks the second time in program history the team finished the regular season without a loss. USF finished this regular season 7-0-2. In 1998, the team finished the regular season 14-1-3 before going 1-1 in postseason play.
- South Florida head coach Denise Schilte-Brown was assessed two yellow cards in the game, resulting in a red card in the 102nd minute. As a result, she will have to sit out the AAC Semifinals game on Thursday.
