Bulls Fall in AAC Semifinals

TULSA, Okla. May 14, 2021 – The University of South Florida softball team had its conference championship hopes come to an end in the semifinals with a 3-2 loss to UCF.

Brooke Hartman (Port Orange, Fla.) hit her fourth home run of the year in the game. Georgina Corrick (Sanford, Fla.) hit the 300-strikeout mark for the first time in her career. It's the fourth time a Bulls has eclipsed 300 Ks in a single season and the first since Sara Nevins threw USF's single-season record of 336 in 2012.

The Bulls tied the game an inning later. Kyndall Williams drove home her 19th run of the season which scored Alexis Johns (Sarasota, Fla.) to tie the game at 2-2.

UCF's Karissa Ornelas hit the game-winning home run in the fourth, which gave the Knights a 3-2 win.
