TAMPA (February 28, 2022) – The University of South Florida Bulls conclude their season-opening seven-game homestand with the first of two midweek games against FIU on Tuesday night in Tampa.

Tuesday night's game is International Night at USF Baseball Stadium and "Los Toros" shirts will be available to fans at the gates.

The Bulls will then travel to UNF on Wednesday night before returning to Tampa for a three-game weekend series against Brown University beginning on Friday night.

Tuesday's starting pitching matchup will pit Orion Kerkering (0-1, 1.80 ERA) against FIU southpaw Drake Batcho (0-0, 0.00). Kerkering will be making his second career start. The right-hander matched a career high with nine strikeouts (4.0 IP) against UConn on opening day and earned a save in his last appearance on Friday against Stony Brook. FIU's Batcho has made two relief appearances this season for the Panthers and allowed one hit and four walks while striking out two batters over 1.0 IP.

Collectively, the Bulls hit .359 with 13 extra-base hits, including four longballs, in a sweep over Stony Brook. The pitching staff posted a 1.67 ERA in the three-game series.

Ben Rozenblum, a transfer from FIU, is batting .400 (10-25) and has hit safely in all six games this season.
