TAMPA, March 24, 2022 – The University of South Florida softball team continues its 2022 American Athletic Conference campaign with its first out-of-state road trip of the season, heading to Greenville, N.C., for a three-game series against East Carolina.

Recapping the Week
The Bulls are coming off a 1-3 week against Canisius and Central Florida.
Georgina Corrick (Sanford, Fla.) broke the program career strikeouts record against Canisius in a midweek matchup. UCF pulls off its first sweep of USF in the all-time series over the weekend.

Dominance in the Circle
Senior pitcher
Georgina Corrick continues to be lights-out for South Florida this season in the circle. She's posted a 22-3 record with a 0.48 ERA. Her 13 shutouts and 248 strikeouts both rank first in the country, while the second-place pitcher in both of those categories rank six shutouts and 76 strikeouts behind her, respectively. Her 22 wins also leads the nation, five wins more than the next pitcher in line.

Overall, the South Florida staff has been successful this season, leading the nation in shutouts with 18 while also holding the 12
th best staff ERA (1.71) in the country and the eighth-best strikeout-to-walk ratio (5.36).

She's a runner, She's a track star
Alexis Johns leads the country with 36 stolen bases so far this season, seven more than the next closest base-stealer. She's only two away from tying the single-season record set last season by
AnaMarie Bruni. While only being at USF for two seasons, she's already claimed the No. 10 spot on USF's all-time list.
