Corrick Earns Fourth American Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year Honor

TAMPA, May 11, 2022 – Georgina Corrick is now the only pitcher in American Athletic Conference history to win the AAC Pitcher of the Year award in all four of her full seasons, as the league announced their postseason awards on Wednesday afternoon.

Corrick (Sanford, Fla.) earned her second unanimous selection the award, which is voted on by the league's coaches. She was previously a unanimous winner in 2021 while also earning the title in 2018 and 2019.

Corrick and Alexis Johns (Sarasota, Fla.), the country's leading base-stealer, were also voted to the AAC All-Conference First Team.

A two-time All-American entering this season, Corrick reached new heights this season. After 118 innings this season, she had a 0.06 ERA and recorded a streak of 88.1 innings without allowing a run.
