TAMPA, Fla., October 21, 2023 – South Florida men's soccer (5-7-1, 2-3-1 AAC) defeated UAB (0-10-4, 0-6-1), 2-1, on Thursday night at Corbett Stadium in Tampa, Fla.

Fifteen minutes into the action,
Ajmeer Spengler struck first for the Bulls, with the assist coming from
Jalen Anderson. Nearly nine minutes went by before UAB's Gustavo Barbosa equalized the contest.

In the second frame, Spengler completed the brace, as he found the net in the 69
th minute of action. Spengler's second goal of the night was assisted by
Takeru Moriyama. USF held on to come out on top as winners of two straight.

USF Men's Soccer competed in the school's first-ever intercollegiate athletic contest on Sept. 25, 1965, beating Florida Southern 4-3.
