Tampa, Fla. Nov. 25, 2023 – South Florida women's basketball (5-3) lost, 76-44, to No. 12/12 Texas (7-0) in the Paradise Jam finale on Sunday night in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

Vittoria Blasigh (10-points) and Romi Levy (10-points) combined for a total of 20 points on the night, while Carla Brito added nine points.

SCORING DOWN THE STRETCH
The Bulls attempted a comeback late in the contest. In the Last quarter South Florida outscored Texas, 24-12. Levy led USF with 10 points within the scoring spurt and Blasigh had six points.

NOTABLE NUMBERS

USF's all-time record in the Paradise Jam shuffled to 6-6.
IF LOSS: With the Bulls' defeat, the USF-Texas series is now even at 2-2.
L'or Mputu and Janette Aarnio earned their first stars of the season for USF.
Carla Brito was named to the Paradise Jam All-Tournament team.

South Florida will host Charleston Southern at the Yuengling Center on Thursday, Nov. 30 for Education Day. Tipoff is slated for 11:00 a.m. and the game will be streamed on ESPN+.
