South Florida Men’s Golf Announces 2023-24 Schedule

The Bulls will play in four fall tournaments and seven in the spring before postseason play begins.

Tampa, Fla. August 9, 2023The University of South Florida Men's Golf team has unveiled its schedule for the upcoming 2023-24 season. Leading the Bulls will be head coach Steve Bradley, the five-time AAC Coach of the Year is in his 10th season at South Florida.

The Bulls will tee off in the Visit Knoxville Collegiate at the Tennessee National Golf Club to open the season on September 8-10.2023-24 MGolf Schedule

South Florida will compete in four tournaments in the Fall portion of the schedule, highlighted by the USF Intercollegiate which the Bulls will host at Southern Hills Plantation Club in Brooksville on October 9-10.

The Bulls will be back on the course to open play in the Spring at the Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate at GSU Golf Club in Statesboro, Georgia on February 3-4.

The Spring schedule will consist of seven tournaments leading up to the AAC Tournament at the Pelican Club in Belleair on April 19-21. NCAA Regional play is scheduled for May 13-15 as the Bulls eye their 11th NCAA Regional appearance in the last 12 years. The NCAA Championship takes place May 24-29 at LaCosta Resort and Golf Club in San Diego, California.

Leading the charge for the Bulls are returning juniors Shubham Jaglan and Jake Peacock, members of the 2022-23 AAC Men's Golf All-Conference Team. The Bulls also return senior Sam Nicholson, junior Chase Gullikson and sophomore Nino Palmquist from last year's squad.

 

About USF Men's Golf
  The USF men's golf program has captured 17 conference titles and has seen players earn 19 All-America honors. The Bulls have won five American Athletic Conference Tournament championships in wire-to-wire fashion, winning four-consecutive from 2015-18. The Bulls have had four individual conference champions, including Albin Bergstrom in 2021, and gone on to earn nine straight NCAA Regional appearances, including a 6th place finish in NCAA Championship match-play in 2015. USF is led by Steve Bradley, who has been named American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year five times since taking over the program in 2014. The Bulls have posted 21 tournament wins under Bradley entering the 2023-24 season, by far the most under any coach in program history.
