Tampa, Fla., Oct. 26, 2024 – The University of South Florida men's soccer team (5-5-4, 3-3 AAC) fell to the Tulsa Golden Hurricane (3-8-3, 2-3-1 AAC) in a heartbreaking 2-1 loss on Saturday night.

Gunnar Studenhofft had the opportunity to get the Bulls on the board, but the Golden Hurricane goalie earned the save. In the 36
th minute, Wes Bottenburg connected on a free-kick header from Alvaro Torrijos to put the Golden Hurricane up 1-0. The Bulls closed out the first half with two shots, one was on goal.
John Adekunle tied the match in the 58
th minute with a right-footed goal from Lovro Kostanjsek. It was Adekunle's first goal of the season. Studenhofft had the opportunity to give the Bulls the lead with less than 10 minutes, but his shot narrowly missed the goal. Tulsa scored the game-deciding goal in the 87
th minute with a goal from Camilo Vargas.
