November 17, 2024

TAMPA, Fla., November 17, 2024 – The 2024 outright American Athletic Conference Regular Season Champions, the University of South Florida Bulls, will open the conference tournament with the No. 8-seeded UAB Blazers on November 22 at 6 p.m., in Wichita, KS.

Wichita State earned the right to host this season's tournament after the departure of the 2023 regular season champions, SMU. The regular season champion earns the right to host the tournament the following year.

The Bulls and Blazers will go head-to-head just five days after a match between the two in Tampa that gave the Bulls their 10th regular season title. If South Florida defeats UAB, they will play the winner of the game #4 winner between No. 5 Tulsa and No. 4 Wichita State. The Bulls defeated both teams earlier this season.
