Andrade Earns Final American Offensive Player of the Week Honor

IRVING, Texas, November 18, 2024 – After leading South Florida to the American Conference Regular Season Championship title, Maria Clara Andrade was named the Offensive Player of the Week for the final week.
 
Through six sets, Andrade averaged 5.83 kills per set, totaling 35 this weekend. She stretched her double-digit kill streak to 21 matches. Andrade added two aces, two blocks, ten digs, and a team-high .516 hitting percentage. She finished the weekend with 38 points, averaging 6.33 per set.
 
In the Bulls' sweep over UAB, Andrade finished with a career-high .533 hitting percentage. On 30 attempts, she had 17 kills with one error.
 
UP NEXT
The No. 1-seeded South Florida Bulls head to the American Conference Tournament for a rematch against the No. 8-seeded UAB Blazers on Friday, November 22, in Wichita, Kan. The first serve is set for 6 p.m. on ESPN+.
