Reynolds Wrap
Jamille Reynolds (52, 40, eight) is the first USF player to have at least 50 points, 40 rebounds, and eight blocks in a four-game span since Kentrell Gransberry from February 16 – March 1, 2008.
Reynolds recorded 13 points, 14 rebounds, and three blocks against Wright State in just 22 minutes of action. Reynolds is the only USF player in the last 25 seasons to reach those marks in a game while playing 30 or fewer minutes.
Kobe's 40th
The next game will be
Kobe Knox's 40th of his USF career. He is one of two players in the last 25 seasons to have at least 50 made threes and 20 blocks within his first 40 career games with the Bulls, along with Scott Johnson in 1997-99 (61, 36).
JR's 40th
The next game will be
Jayden Reid's 40th of his USF career. He is looking to become the first player this century to have at least 120 assists, 50 steals, and a 40.0 three-point percentage through 40 career games with South Florida.
Jimmie's Hot Start
Jimmie Williams is shooting 52.8 percent from the field, 44.4 percent from three, and 91.7 percent from the free-throw line over his first six games this season. 27 Straight Games
USF has gone 27 consecutive games with at least 25 rebounds and 10 assists, tied for the sixth-longest streak in Division I. The last time the Bulls had a longer streak was 58 straight games between November 28, 2000, and March 6, 2002.
One-Point Victories Away from Home in the Same Calendar Year
South Florida defeated Wright State, 73-72, making it the second time in the 2024 calendar year that
the Bulls have recorded a one-point win away from home (74-73 at Memphis in January). The last time South Florida had multiple one-point victories away from home in the same calendar year was in 1985 (at Charlotte in February and at San Diego in December).
Making it Count at the Line
The Bulls have shot at least 65.0 percent from the free-throw line in all seven games this season. The only time over the past 25 years that USF has had a longer streak to start a season was in 2017-18 (the first nine games).
South Florida has 11 different players this season who have made multiple free-throw attempts. Their free-throw percentage is 60.0 percent, which is tied for fourth most in Division I and the most by any AAC team in 2024-25. USF is tied for 54th in the country and second in the AAC with a free-throw percentage of 75.9 percent.
Stout Long-Range Defense

The University of South Florida men's basketball, led by interim head coach Ben Fletcher, is a member of the American Athletic Conference. The Bulls enter their 2024-25 campaign, presented by Tampa General Hospital, on the heels of their best season in program history, in which they claimed their first-ever regular season conference title, won a record 25 games, and earned a Top 25 ranking for the first time in program history. A presence on the college basketball scene for more than five decades, South Florida has earned two conference titles and three NCAA tournament bids (1990, 1992, and 2012), appeared in the NIT eight times, and won the 2019 College Basketball Invitational.
South Florida is wearing patches with the initials AAR this season in memory of their head coach, Amir Abdur-Rahim, who passed away in October 2024.
The Bulls play their home games at the 10,400-seat Yuengling Center, located on South Florida's Tampa campus.
