TAMPA (February 16, 2024) – The University of South Florida (5-4) team saw its two-match winning streak snapped on Friday afternoon in a 4-3 battle with the Memphis Tigers (8-3). Friday's match was the second time this season USF suffered a heartbreaking loss on the final court of play.
No. 38 Pablo Alemany and Charlie Barry defeated No. 17
Alvin Tudorica and
Erik Grevelius on court one, 6-2.
Ben Hudson and
Bruno Oliveira turned in a 6-4 win on court three, but the Tigers claimed the doubles point.
Singles wins by No. 35 Tudorica, Grevelius and
Tom Pisane saw the Bulls even the team score at 3-3 before Memphis was able to secure the victory on court six.

With inclement weather forecast for the remainder of the weekend, USF has canceled its Sunday match against FAU and will return to the courts on Saturday, February 24 for a doubleheader against Santa Clara and Troy beginning at 10 a.m.
