TAMPA, Fla., September 5, 2024 – The University of South Florida volleyball team (0-3) will head back on the road to Gainesville for the Florida Invitational this Friday through Sunday.
The Bulls will take on No. 10 Florida Gators, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles.
LAST TIME OUT
South Florida traveled to Tallahassee for the Seminole Invitational, where the Bulls faced No. 20 Florida State, No. 25 Georgia, and UC Santa Barbara.
Setter
Caroline Dykes (Flower Mound, Texas) reached her 100 aces milestone on Sunday against UC Santa Barbara.
Maria Clara Andrade (Sao Paulo, Brazil) was named to the Seminole Invitational All-Tournament Team. She finished the weekend with 33 kills, 20 digs, and four blocks.
Ally Cavanaugh (Jacksonville Beach) made her presence known against her former team. On Saturday against the Bulldogs, she finished the match with 11 kills, one error, and a 0.588 attack percentage.

- Jasmine Green led the Eagles with 43 kills, an average of 3.58 per set.
- Keira Moore has led Southern Indiana in digs. She has 64 through the first weekend.

Head coach Jolene Shepardson enters her fifth season at the helm of her alma mater in 2024. Named head coach on Jan. 8, 2020, Shepardson led the Bulls' program to its last conference championship and NCAA tournament appearance as a student-athlete in 2002. Earning the AAC East Division title in 2023, South Florida made a postseason appearance in the NIVC, winning three games and advancing to the Fab Four to mark the longest postseason run in program history.
