Jake Peacock led the University of South Florida men's golf team at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate. Peacock finished tied for third, while the Bulls tied for sixth.
South Florida finished ahead of two ranked teams. The Bulls posted a three-round tally of 843 (+3). As a unit, USF collected 49 birdies.
Peacock finished the weekend with a 204 (-6) and tied for third. He opened the tournament with a 64 (-6) with six birdies. He followed that up with two rounds of 70 (E). He produced 14 birdies across the three rounds.
Cooper Smith posted a three-round score of 206 (-4) and tied for eighth. He posted a low round of 66 (-4) with seven birdies in the final round. He opened with a 71 (+1) and a 69 (-1). He compiled 13 birdies for the tournament.
Shubham Jaglan finished tied for 48th and collected nine birdies for the tournament.
Nino Palmquist posted tied for a team-low round with a 64 (-6) in the second round where he posted six birdies.
South Florida returns to the course on Sunday, September 29, in Northfield, Illinois. The Bulls are set to compete at the Windon Memorial Classic at the Conway Farms Golf Club.
