USF Announces Updates to Baseball and Softball Stadium

January 30, 2025

TAMPA, FLA., January 30, 2025 – Ahead of two action-packed seasons, the University of South Florida announces updates made to the USF Baseball and Softball facilities for the 2025 seasons. Both stadiums will include new Adirondack chairs, premium seating, concession packages, and mobile ordering.

Head coach Ken Eriksen is at the helm of the softball team for his 28th season at South Florida, while the baseball team is led by Mitch Hannahs in his first season with the Bulls. After a highly successful career at Indiana State, which included 355 wins and five NCAA Regionals, Hannahs starts a new era for the baseball team, which is celebrating its 60th season in 2025.

The Adirondack chairs can be found beyond the left field outfield fence for baseball and outside the right field fence for softball. They are available on a first-come basis.

Softball will have a new home plate section with cushioned seats for fans to reserve. Softball fans can purchase premium pavilion seating on the third base side. Each pavilion will include personal service and snacks.

Baseball fans can purchase new premium box seating located in the front two rows by the field, which includes personal service.

This season, fans will have the option to skip the line and order food from their phone. Groups will also have a new concessions package.

On Sundays, not including tournament softball games, kids will be free for both baseball and softball.
