USF Volleyball Sweeps Charlotte to Stay Perfect in The Corral

October 17, 2025

TAMPA, (Oct. 17, 2025) – South Florida volleyball earned a statement win inside The Corral on Friday night, sweeping Charlotte (25–23, 25–20, 25–19) to improve to 10–8 overall and 5–2 in American Athletic Conference play.

USF controlled the match from start to finish, holding Charlotte to a .153 hitting percentage while finishing with a .213 mark of its own. The Bulls were efficient on offense and locked in defensively, using timely blocks and service pressure to keep the 49ers out of rhythm.

Maria Clara Andrade led a balanced attack with seven kills and a .545 hitting percentage in the final set. Setter Raegan Richardson ran the offense with precision, recording 44 assists and six kills, while Laila Ivey and Imani Hartfield added steady production at the pins.

On the defensive end, USF turned in one of its most disciplined efforts of the year. The Bulls' blocking unit sealed off the net with five total blocks, and the backcourt held steady behind libero Samiha Foster's composed play and crisp ball control.
