USF Volleyball Closes Out Weekend with Temple

The Bulls welcome the Owls for a noon match on Sunday.

TAMPA, October 18, 2025 – The University of South Florida volleyball team will look to remain undefeated in the Corral as they welcome the Temple Owls for a Sunday afternoon match. The first serve is set for noon and will be streamed on ESPN+.
 
Setting The Stage:
The Bulls (10-8, 6-1 American) are coming off a clean sweep over the Charlotte 49ers on Friday night. The Owls (11-10, 1-6 American) are coming off a 3-1 loss against Florida Atlantic.
 
Series History:
South Florida leads the all-time series 21-12, taking the last six matches. Earlier this month, when the Bulls traveled to Philadelphia, South Florida took the match 3-1.
 
Note-A-Bull:
South Florida leads the conference in RPI at 43. The next closest is Rice at 46 and Tulsa at 47. Maria Clara Andrade continues to lead the team with 4.86 kills per set. On Friday, she registered her eighth double-double of the season. Imani Hartfield has a team-leading 47.0 blocks on the season. Behind the service line, Raegan Richardson continues to lead the Bulls with 26 aces. She has nine matches with multiple service aces.
 
Additional Notes:
Samiha Foster is averaging 2.82 digs per set. Arianna Beckham and Addy Brus join Andrade with over 100+ kills on the season. Beckham is averaging 2.75 kills per set. Richardson had dished out 557 assists this season. She is averaging 8.84 assists per set.

Head coach Jolene Shepardson enters her sixth season at the helm of her alma mater in 2025. Named head coach on January 8, 2020, Shepardson led the Bulls to a conference championship and the program's last NCAA tournament appearance as a student-athlete in 2002. South Florida won the 2024 AAC regular-season title, earning Jolene Shepardson her first Coach of the Year Honor. In 2023, the Bulls won the AAC East Division title, made a postseason appearance in the NIVC, won three matches, and advanced to the Fab Four to mark the longest postseason run in program history. South Florida Volleyball has won eight Player of the Year honors, most recently in Maria Clara Andrade in 2024. The Bulls have also had four Setter of the Year honors, most recently in Caroline Dykes in 2024. South Florida has made seven NCAA Tournament appearances and won 13 conference titles since its inception in 1972. The Bulls play in The Corral (1,000), located adjacent to the Yuengling Center on the USF campus in Tampa.
