TAMPA, October 2, 2025 – The University of South Florida volleyball team will head to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for their first conference road match before heading back to Tampa to host the North Texas Eagles.
The Bulls will start the weekend at the Temple Owls for a Friday night match at 6 p.m. South Florida will then head home to Tampa to host a conference match for the third time this season against the Eagles.

Setting The Stage:
The Bulls (6-7) are coming off two conference wins from home. South Florida took a 3-1 (21-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-21) victory over FAU on Wednesday. Then the Bulls added another conference win on Friday against East Carolina with a 3-1 (25-12, 23-25, 25-16, 25-15) score.

Series History:
The Bulls will be facing off against Temple (11-5) for the 33
rd time. South Florida is 20-12 against Temple in program history, while recording a 3-0 win during their last matchup in 2024 at home. South Florida will be facing off against North Texas (11-3) for the third time in program history, with the all-time record split with one win per team. The Bulls took the 3-2 victory over the Eagles last year on the road.

Note-A-Bull:
Maria Clara Andrade leads the team with 185 kills on the season, followed by 118 kills by
Addy Brus and 116 kills by
Arianna Beckham.
Raegan Richardson leads with 393 assists on the season followed by
Sarah White who holds 104. Richardson also leads with 23 service aces this season followed by Andrade with 19 and Brus who has recorded 15.
Samiha Foster leads the team in digs recording 195, followed by Andrade with 130 and Brus with 117.
Imani Hartfield leads the team with 37 blocks on the season, followed by Beckham with 28 and
Iyanna Garvin with 27.

This will be the Bulls first road conference match of the season, the Bulls went 7-4 on the road for conference play in the 2024 season. Â

Head coach Jolene Shepardson enters her sixth season at the helm of her alma mater in 2025. Named head coach on January 8, 2020, Shepardson led the Bulls to a conference championship and the program's last NCAA tournament appearance as a student-athlete in 2002. South Florida won the 2024 AAC regular-season title, earning Jolene Shepardson her first Coach of the Year Honor. In 2023, the Bulls won the AAC East Division title, made a postseason appearance in the NIVC, won three matches, and advanced to the Fab Four to mark the longest postseason run in program history. South Florida Volleyball has won eight Player of the Year honors, most recently in Maria Clara Andrade in 2024. The Bulls have also had four Setter of the Year honors, most recently in Caroline Dykes in 2024. South Florida has made seven NCAA Tournament appearances and won 13 conference titles since its inception in 1972. The Bulls play in The Corral (1,000), located adjacent to the Yuengling Center on the USF campus in Tampa.
