CHARLOTTE, N.C., (Oct. 26, 2025) – The University of South Florida volleyball team extended its winning streak to five straight matches with a 3-1 victory over Charlotte on Sunday afternoon inside Halton Arena. The Bulls won with scores of 25-15, 25-21, 21-25, 25-21.
The win improved the Bulls' record to 13-8 overall and 9-1 in American Conference play as they continued their midseason surge with another strong all-around performance.
USF opened the match in commanding fashion, hitting .303 in the first set and recording five blocks to cruise to a 25-15 win. The Bulls carried that momentum into the second frame, maintaining control throughout to take a 25-21 victory and a 2-0 lead. Charlotte battled back to claim the third set, but South Florida regrouped quickly, closing out the match with a 25-21 win in the fourth to secure its fifth consecutive triumph.
The Bulls were efficient on both sides of the net, hitting .304 as a team while holding Charlotte to a .186 clip and out-blocking the 49ers 14-5. The performance marked another balanced effort that showcased South Florida's depth, consistency, and poise on the road.

South Florida will look to stretch its win streak as it welcomes the Tulsa Golden Hurricane and the Wichita State Shockers to the Corral this Friday and Sunday. It's the first time both teams have traveled to Tampa since the 2021 season. Friday's match is set for 6 p.m., while Sunday's match is set for 1 p.m. Both matches will be streamed on ESPN+.

Friday's match will be the Bulls' "Back in Black" match, where fans are encouraged to wear black. On Sunday, the Bulls will honor service members with their annual "Salute to Service" match.
