USF Volleyball Defeats Temple to Remain Undefeated in Conference Play

The Bulls have won nine consecutive regular-season conference matches.

PHILADELPHIA, Pa., October 3, 2025 – The University of South Florida volleyball team kept its undefeated conference streak alive with a 3–1 victory at Temple (25-20, 24-26, 25-15, 25-21) on Friday night inside McGonigle Hall.

With the win, the Bulls improved to 7-7 overall and 3-0 in American Athletic Conference play.

USF set the tone early by taking the opening frame behind a balanced attack and strong serving pressure. After a narrow setback in the second set, the Bulls responded with their most dominant stretch of the night — rolling to a 25-15 win in the third while hitting nearly .400 as a team. South Florida then closed the door in the fourth, delivering clutch points late to secure the match.

The Bulls' offense finished with 70 kills on a .276 hitting percentage, while the defense held Temple in check and came up with key stops in momentum-shifting rallies. The victory marked USF's third straight conference win.
