TAMPA, November 11, 2025 – The University of South Florida volleyball team will wrap up their road slate for the regular season with a match against the Florida Atlantic Owls on Wednesday night. The first serve is set for 6 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+.
Setting The Stage:
The Bulls (15-10, 11-3 American) are coming off a clean sweep over the Memphis tigers on Sunday afternoon. The Owls (17-10, 8-6 American) are coming off a 0-3 loss against Rice.
Series History:
South Florida leads the all-time series 18-5, taking the last two matches. Earlier this season, the Bulls faced the Owls at home and took the match, 3-1.
Note-A-Bull:
South Florida is second in the conference in RPI at 40. They trail Rice at 29.
Maria Clara Andrade continues to lead the team with 4.91 kills per set. On Friday, she hit 1500 collegiate kills.
Imani Hartfield has a team-leading 70.0 blocks on the season. Behind the service line,
Raegan Richardson continues to lead the Bulls with 33 aces. She has nine matches with multiple service aces.
Additional Notes:
Samiha Foster is averaging 3.85 digs per set.
Laila Ivey and
Imani Hartfield with over 100+ kills on the season. Beckham is averaging 2.41 kills per set. Richardson had dished out 821 assists this season. She is averaging 9.22 assists per set.

Head coach Jolene Shepardson enters her sixth season at the helm of her alma mater in 2025. Named head coach on January 8, 2020, Shepardson led the Bulls to a conference championship and the program's last NCAA tournament appearance as a student-athlete in 2002. South Florida won the 2024 AAC regular-season title, earning Jolene Shepardson her first Coach of the Year Honor. In 2023, the Bulls won the AAC East Division title, made a postseason appearance in the NIVC, won three matches, and advanced to the Fab Four to mark the longest postseason run in program history. South Florida Volleyball has won eight Player of the Year honors, most recently in Maria Clara Andrade in 2024. The Bulls have also had four Setter of the Year honors, most recently in Caroline Dykes in 2024. South Florida has made seven NCAA Tournament appearances and won 13 conference titles since its inception in 1972. The Bulls play in The Corral (1,000), located adjacent to the Yuengling Center on the USF campus in Tampa.
