TAMPA, Fla. (November 14, 2025) –
Delaney Stephens and
Sean Perry paced the University of South Florida cross country teams at the NCAA South Regional on Friday. Stephens posted the highest finish by a USF woman at a regional since 2019, while Perry led the USF men.
Stephens recorded a personal-best time of 21:15.23 on the 6k course. She placed 81st, which was the highest individual finish by a woman since Natalie Walsh finished 73rd in 2019.
Hailey Cohen posted a career-best mark of 21:37.51 and finished in 112th.
Caroline Irvin ran 24:30.87 and finished 199th.
On the men's side, Perry led the Bulls with a personal-best mark of 32:40.35 on the 10k course.
Clayton Knight placed 163rd with a career-best run of 33:51.48.
Tanner Andrade-Brinsko finished right behind him in 164th with a personal-best time of 33:53.77. It was the first time these three men had competed in a 10k cross-country race.

About USF Cross Country
The USF Cross Country team has earned 2 All-America selections, Christina Benton in 2002 and Gray Mavhera in 1994. The Bulls have advanced to the NCAA Cross Country Championships seven times in program history, three times for the men and four times for the women. The USF men's teams have won seven team conference championships, and the women's teams have won 5. Director of Track & Field and Cross Country Erik Jenkins took over the program in 2019. USF hosted the 2018 NCAA Track and Field East Preliminary and the 2021 and 2023 American Conference Outdoor Championship at the USF Track and Field Stadium, as well as the 2022 American Country Cross Country Championship at Holloway Park.
