TAMPA, Fla., November 1, 2025 — The University of South Florida cross country teams wrapped up their 2025 fall season Saturday morning at the American Conference Cross Country Championships at Frank Liske Park in Concord, N.C. The meet was streamed live on ESPN+.
The men's team opened the day with the 8K race at 9:15 a.m., led by junior Sean Perry, who crossed the finish line first for the Bulls in 25:17.4. Nicolas Dovalovsky followed close behind in 25:47.0, while Karim Belmahdi finished in 25:53.1. Clayton Knight (26:13.6), Tanner Andrade-Brinsko (26:20.9), Cole Stevens (26:34.0), Stephen Barbera (26:54.7), and Andrew Marello (28:05.5) rounded out the Bulls' lineup.
In the women's 6K, which began at 10 a.m., Hailey Cohen led the Bulls with a strong time of 21:54.9. Delaney Stephens was right on her heels at 21:59.9, while Catalina Edwards clocked 22:29.5. Caroline Irvin (23:18.9), Ava Heskett (23:53.7), Marlo Hibler (24:00.0), and Shannon Fischer (24:55.9) completed the women's effort for South Florida.
"Our student-athletes competed with pride and represented USF extremely well," said Director of Track & Field and Cross Country Erik Jenkins. "We continue to see growth within this group each time they take the course, and their dedication sets the foundation for where this program is heading. I'm proud of the way they finished the season."

About USF Cross Country
The USF Cross Country team has earned 2 All-America selections, Christina Benton in 2002 and Gray Mavhera in 1994. The Bulls have advanced to the NCAA Cross Country Championships seven times in program history, three times for the men and four times for the women. The USF men's teams have won seven team conference championships, and the women have won five team championships. Director of Track & Field and Cross Country Erik Jenkins took over the program in 2019. USF hosted the 2018 NCAA Track and Field East Preliminary and the 2021 and 2023 American Conference Outdoor Championship at the USF Track and Field Stadium, as well as the 2022 American Country Cross Country Championship at Holloway Park.
