TAMPA, Fl., November 16, 2025 – The University of South Florida volleyball team took a 3–1 victory at home (25-12, 23-25, 25-23, 25-23 on Sunday afternoon to end the regular season.
With the win, the Bulls improved to 16-11 overall and 12-4 in American Athletic Conference play.
USF's attack was sharp from start to finish, hitting .331 as a team behind a balanced effort that saw four Bulls finish with double-digit points.
Maria Clara Andrade powered the offense with 22 kills, adding eight digs and two blocks in a standout two-way performance, while
Imani Hartfield was unstoppable at the net with 10 kills on .643 hitting and three block assists.
Setter
Raegan Richardson ran the show with 49 assists and four service aces, orchestrating a Bulls offense that maintained rhythm even through tight late-set moments.
Addy Brus added 10 kills and 12 digs in a steady all-around outing, while libero
Miya Thomas anchored the back row with 15 digs.
Defensively, USF kept UTSA off balance, out-digging the Roadrunners 54–40 and out-blocking them 8–5. The Bulls also capitalized from the service line with eight aces, repeatedly shifting momentum at key points.

Head coach Jolene Shepardson enters her sixth season at the helm of her alma mater in 2025. Named head coach on January 8, 2020, Shepardson led the Bulls to a conference championship and the program's last NCAA tournament appearance as a student-athlete in 2002. South Florida won the 2024 AAC regular-season title, earning Jolene Shepardson her first Coach of the Year Honor. In 2023, the Bulls won the AAC East Division title, made a postseason appearance in the NIVC, won three matches, and advanced to the Fab Four to mark the longest postseason run in program history. South Florida Volleyball has won eight Player of the Year honors, most recently in Maria Clara Andrade in 2024. The Bulls have also had four Setter of the Year honors, most recently in Caroline Dykes in 2024. South Florida has made seven NCAA Tournament appearances and won 13 conference titles since its inception in 1972.
