TAMPA, November 20, 2025 – Senior outside hitter
Maria Clara Andrade has been named the 2025 American Conference Player of the Year for the second straight season, while setter
Raegan Richardson earned a spot on the All-Conference First Team and outside hitter
Laila Ivey was named to the All-Conference Second Team.
Andrade becomes just the second Bull to win back-to-back Player of the Year honors, joining Erica Berggren (1995–96). In addition to her top conference honor, Andrade was also selected to the All-Conference First Team after another standout season leading the USF attack. She paces the Bulls in kills (402), kills per set (4.37), points (455.5), and points per set (4.95), and leads the conference in both kills per set and points per set. Her 1,567 career kills rank seventh among active Division I players and fourth in USF program history.
Richardson, in her debut season with the Bulls, has been the engine of the offense with 887 assists and ranks second in the conference with 9.34 assists per set. She surpassed 1,000 career assists during USF's match at Rice on Oct. 10. Richardson also leads the team with 37 service aces, ranking third in the American.
Ivey made an immediate impact in her first season with the Bulls, earning a place on the All-Conference Second Team. She ranks third on the squad with 171 kills and averages 2.41 kills per set. In conference play, she recorded 138 kills—second most on the team.
