TAMPA, Fla. (November 6, 2025) – The University of South Florida women's soccer team will play in the semifinal of the American Conference Championship. USF (9-8-2) is the seventh seed and is set to face the sixth seed Rice (10-3-5) at 4 p.m. on ESPN+.
South Florida beat the second-seeded Charlotte in the quarterfinals 3-0.
Sadie Sider-Echenberg scored her sixth goal of the season and now leads the team in goals.
Noelle Sather and
Sophia Cabral both scored their first goals of the season.
With a win, the Bulls clinch a spot in the Championship Match, played on Sunday, November 9, at 2 p.m. They would face the winner of the match between No. 5 seed UTSA and No. 1 seed Memphis.
Setting the Stage
In the regular season match between these two teams, USF lost 3-1 on the road.
Yui Suetsugu scored the only goal of the match for South Florida.

Chris Brown enters his second season as USF head coach after a record-setting debut in 2024, leading the Bulls to 12 wins and coaching both the American Athletic Conference Midfielder of the Year and Goalkeeper of the Year. Brown spent 17 years as associate head coach (2007–2023), helping USF to three American Athletic Conference titles, eight NCAA appearances, and a 10-year streak of 10+ win seasons. He coached USF's first All-American, Evelyne Viens, now a Hall of Famer and Olympic gold medalist, and has developed multiple American Athletic Conference award winners. Players under his guidance hold most of the program's records.
