MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Nov. 9, 2025) – The University of South Florida volleyball team wrapped up its road weekend with a convincing 3-0 sweep over Memphis on Sunday afternoon inside Elma Roane Fieldhouse.

The Bulls took the match with set scores of 25-23, 25-21, and 25-17 to improve to 15-10 overall and 11-3 in the American Athletic Conference.

South Florida controlled the tempo from start to finish, using balanced offense and a strong defensive presence at the net to limit Memphis' rhythm. The Bulls maintained momentum throughout the afternoon, capitalizing on key runs in each set to pull away late.

With the win, South Florida continues its push near the top of the AAC standings as the regular season enters its final stretch

Notables

• Maria Clara Andrade led the Bulls with 13 kills for her 21^st double-digit kill performance of the season. It's her 17^th straight.
• Andrade led with three service aces, followed by Samiha Foster and Miya Thomas with one.
• Imani Hartfield posted four blocks, while Laila Ivey and Iyanna Garvin had three.
• Raegan Richardson dished out 36 assists. She now has 821 this season.

American Conference Tournament
South Florida will be the host to the 2025 American Conference Volleyball Tournament, November 21-23, inside the Corral, due to winning the 2024 Regular Season. The top eight teams will make it to the tournament. Tickets for the conference tournament will go on sale on Monday, November 3rd. More information can be found at TheAmerican.org.

Head coach Jolene Shepardson enters her sixth season at the helm of her alma mater in 2025. Named head coach on January 8, 2020, Shepardson led the Bulls to a conference championship and the program's last NCAA tournament appearance as a student-athlete in 2002. South Florida won the 2024 AAC regular-season title, earning Jolene Shepardson her first Coach of the Year Honor.
